Sports Development Coach

Sport Trafford is committed to enhancing sporting opportunites for the communites in Trafford and we require additional coaches to become part of our successful coaching team.

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated coaches to deliver in school sessions, extra curricular activity, community sessions and initiative based activity. You will need good communication and organisation skills and the ability to deliver in various settings. In general you will need:

  • Level 2 Sports Coaching Qualification
  • Experience of delivering sport in school and community settings
  • Understanding of the National Curriculum and school sport structure

Temporary Sports Coordinator

This is a ideal opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable experience of working in a sports development team and manage a short term project. You will oversee the continuation of an existing initiative and investigate new opportunities to increase the opportunities to participate in sport. You will provide monitoring and evaluation and update reports of the programmes success.

Duration is 7 months December 08 to June 09

Coach Manager 

Trafford Community Leisure Trust has recently been seccessful in gaining funding  from Sport England to appoint a Coach Manager. This post, based with in the sports develompment team, will work across all partnership organisations to coordinate, deliver and manage a coordinated programme of coaching across the borough of Trafford.

You will need a proven record of managing projects and coordinating staff and have experience of providing continuous professional development, monitoring and evaluation. You will coordinate the coaching delivery of the successful Trafford schools coaching programme and community engagement initiatives.

Salary: £25,550.00  3 year contract. Interviewing Tuesday 9th December.

Physical Activity Coordinator

Trafford Community Leisure Trust has recently been seccessful in gaining funding from Sport england to appoint a Physical Activity Coordinator. This post, based with in the sports develompment team, is part funded by the PCT and will require the successful candidate to coordinate, deliver and manage a programme of physical activity across the borough of Trafford.

You will work closely with partners to develop , deliver and sustain activities for targeted communities in Trafford. You will manage the authorities leisure pass scheme and oversee the successful active walking programme, deliver physical activity initiatives and community workshops. You will require good organisation skills, the ability to motivate others together with good communication skills.

Salary £22,350.00  3 year contract. Interviewing Monday 8th December

Trafford Community Leisure Trust has recently been seccessful in gaining funding from Sport England to appoint a school to club Coordinator. This post, based with in the sports develompment team, will work across both school sports partnership to coordinate deliver and sustain out of school activity.

You will proivide effective links between clubs and schools that will enable and increase participation, establish new activities, organisations and clubs. You will require good organisational skills, the ability to motivate others together with good communication skills.

Salary £18,430.00   3 year contract. Interviewing Thursday 11th December
