Sale Leisure Centre
Located in the heart of Sale Town Centre, a 2 minute walk from the metro station, this leisure centre is one of Trafford’s largest leisure facilities which also offers 2 free car parks. The original pool has been in situ since the early 19th Century and is still used today for school and private swimming lessons. The rest of the sports centre was added in the 70's, areas added where the 2 pools, sports hall, gym and various fitness rooms. Most recently in 2008 - 2009 the centre had an refurbishment which saw alot of work been carried out behind closed doors to ensure the equipment and machinary were replaced with new and high technology equipment to cope with the demands of a busy centre. Noticable changes are the Male changing room, Poolside and surround, 3-Tier lift, Reception area and the energy saving lighting system around the centre.
The centre has a vibrant and friendly atmosphere and is the best place to enjoy a fitness activity within Sale. The Centre boasts a 5 court sports hall, 1 squash court, 3 pools, 2 gyms, spinning studio, class studios and the new iMove room. The iMove room is an interactive workout facility for over 8's, which is the only facility of its type in Manchester click for more. The centre provides a complete leisure package with activities and sessions for the whole community.
