Great first day up in Edinburgh for the troops. Amazing experience rubbing shoulders with some of the best swimmers in UK and Netherlands

Second day in Edinburgh. Best times, more finalists and even more medal winners.

Well done to Solomon Mhar on a fantastic 1500m free swim winning his heat in a well paced best time swim. Tiago Lawrie gaining a 2 second best time and more learning for his development.

Holly Rowlinson showed great strength reaching the finals in 50m, 200m fly and just missing the 200m Breast.

Alisdair Stout showed the commitment to his training paying off with a silver medal in the boys 100m fly in a new best time. Jared Armstrong continued a fine weekend reaching the 50m free final in another best time.

Jack Obrien had another stella day with two excellent performances in the 200m IM final and the 100m Breast final where he finished 2nd.

Final session was an excellent finish to the meet. The bagpipes were ringing out prior to the start with the first race being Jack into the 200m Breast final. Jack produced another fine swim to finish 2nd in 0.2 behind the current age group record holder.

Alisdair Stout was next in to swim the 50m fly. Alisdair led from the start winning the final in an excellent best time. Another fine swim in the 200 Fly just off the 6 second best time swam in the heat. Finishing 4th in the final.

To finish the meet Jared Arstrong went in the 200m free
