General Funding

Sport Trafford has compiled this funding section to provide information to assist individuals, Clubs and other organisations in their quest for additional funds.

The often difficult process of seeking funding and knowing where to start has been addressed and details on a vast array of various local and national funding bodies is included within the Funding Information pack which can be downloaded by clicking here.

Please note that the information within the pack was correct at the time it was posted on this site. Individual funding organisations occasionally alter their criteria, please ensure you check any application information carefully when you receive it from the organisation.

Greater Manchester Sports Fund

The Community Foundation manages the Greater Manchester Sports Fund.  The fund is open to talented young sports men and women from any sport and can help with travel or equipment costs, accommodation at overnight events, or pay for a parent or guardian to accompany you to trials.
