Competition Manager
Sport Trafford are the host agency for Trafford’s Competition Manager. Competition Managers are working with national governing bodies and national schools sport associations on the implementation of the national competition frameworks, in order to increase the number of young people engaged in regular competitive opportunities. Their role is to review and re-align the current programme of Competition in Trafford with the aim of increasing the amount of high qualityand appropriate opportunities for young people to access in the Borough. The work will also involve the development of opportunities for young leaders to support the Competition programme and gain experience in a variety of roles such as refereeing and scoring.
The Competition Manager will be working closely with both the North and South Trafford School Sports Partnerships as well as the secondary PE Association.
