Football
Football is widely represented and participated in by various groups and teams throughout the Borough of Trafford.
The Football Development Officer's role is to develop and enhance football at all levels, from Junior Clubs through to semi-professional and Professional Clubs.
Sport Trafford offers a number of external football schemes to support the individual player, as well as coaching and training sessions within schools for both pupils and staff. The development of football also covers coach education, facilities, pitch improvements and everything else in between.
Trafford is at the forefront of football's development as we work closely with both Cheshire and Manchester Football Associations, along with the National Football Association.
